"As an AuDHD financial planner, I get it. That understanding is built into everything NeuroMoney™ does."

    My Story

For years, I've worked in mainstream financial planning. I'm good at it. CFP qualified, technically proficient, genuinely care about my clients. But something always felt off.

The advice I give works on paper. The spreadsheets are perfect. The projections are sound. But I've watched clients struggle to actually follow through. Missed deadlines. Forgotten tasks. That paralysing feeling when faced with a stack of complex documents. I noticed similar patterns in myself, though I couldn't explain why.

When I was diagnosed with ADHD in my late 50s, and later recognised my autism, suddenly so much made sense. The executive function challenges. The need for visual clarity. The overwhelm from traditional financial documents designed for neurotypical brains.

"I realised that the problem wasn't that my clients lacked discipline or motivation. The problem was that financial planning had never been designed for brains like ours."

That diagnosis sent me down a path of extensive research into neurodivergence, executive function, and how people actually make financial decisions. What I discovered was clear: traditional financial planning frameworks, including the SMART goals that the industry relies on, simply weren't built for neurodivergent minds. The tools weren't broken. They just weren't made for us.

I continue to run my mainstream practice, Dorset Wealth Management, serving clients who thrive with conventional approaches. But I knew there was a gap that needed filling. So alongside Dorset, I set about designing something purpose-built for neurodivergent clients.

NeuroMoney™ brings together my professional expertise with accommodations and adaptations designed from the ground up: visual financial maps instead of spreadsheet-heavy reports, flexible goal frameworks that work with variable capacity, and communication approaches matched to how you process information. The quality of advice remains the same. What changes is how it's delivered, so you can actually use it.

I'm also completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology to deepen my understanding of the clinical aspects of neurodivergent support.

This isn't just a business for me. It's personal. And I believe everyone deserves financial planning that actually works for how their brain operates.
